The Little Gem Magnolia, (Magnolia grandiflora), is the crown jewel of Magnolias. This is the classic southern Magnolia, with glossy leaves and big, fragrant white blossoms that look good on any landscape. It loves a full sun environment and has a slow growth rate. Spanish Dagger is a full sun, drought tolerant plant the grows in many areas of the Southwest. These plants can grow up to 8-10' tall and spread wide or kept narrow depending on the number of trunks they develop.
